Saudi Arabia is gearing up to host the 1st edition of the Esports World Cup in Riyadh this year from July 3 to August 25. The Esports World Cup will take place at Boulevard Riyadh City with the participation of more than 2,500 male and female players from around the world. The event also features a staggering $60 million prize pool, the largest in esports history.
Powered by the Esports World Cup Foundation (EWCF), this tournament aims to propel the esports industry forward while creating promising opportunities for players and multi-team clubs.

The Esports World Cup brings together the global esports community of players, fans, game producers and publishers under the umbrella of the largest event in the history of the sector. Moreover, it provides a rare opportunity to unite the efforts and ambitions of partners, game producers and publishers within a global esports event that includes various games. Largest prize pool in esports history
Through an innovative competitive system, the Club Championship will award $20 million to the top 16 clubs depending on their overall performance. The remaining prize pool will go to three additional categories: Game Championships, MVP awards, and qualifiers.
Each of the 20 Game Championships has its own prize pool, totaling over $33 million. In addition, the Esports World Cup will reward the top player in each competition with a $50,000 reward. Before the start of the Game Championship, more than $7 million will be offered for which teams will compete to reserve their place through the qualifying tournaments.
The organization recently announced the official schedule for the tournament, which includes 20 competitions for a variety of the most famous games in the world, most notably Apex Legends, Counter-Strike 2, Dota 2, and Fortnite.
