Saudi Arabia’s flynas to broaden UAE network, add flights to DWC, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah

flynas, the Saudi low-cost airline, has announced plans for expansion in the UAE during the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2024. Starting from September 2024, flynas intends to broaden its operations by including Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, and Al Maktoum International (DWC) airports in addition to its existing flights to Dubai International (DXB). These new destinations will be integrated into flynas’ current network, which primarily operates from its main hubs in Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, and Madinah.

With this expansion, the number of routes connecting Saudi Arabia and the UAE will increase to nine, and the frequency of flights will surge to over 20 daily flights. flynas currently provides connectivity to more than 70 domestic and international destinations through a network of over 1,500 weekly flights.

Bander Almohanna, managing director and CEO of flynas, expressed satisfaction with the enhanced air connectivity between Saudi Arabia and the UAE. He emphasized that this development aligns with NAS Airlines’ dedication to progressing its growth and expansion strategy, guided by the motto ‘Connecting the World to the Kingdom.’

Since its establishment in 2007, flynas has transported over 78 million passengers. Presently, the airline is actively working towards expanding its reach to a total of 165 destinations, both within Saudi Arabia and internationally.
