Innovative data access and analysis

GASTAT emphasized that the Micro Data Center will present its data in an innovative manner, granting access to a variety of data types—structured, semi-structured, and unstructured—spanning multiple fields. The center will enable data analysis utilizing both descriptive and predictive techniques. This initiative aims to enhance GASTAT’s position as a provider of official statistics and furnish researchers with high-quality, accurate data. Additionally, it addresses the growing demand for data and supports the formulation of strategies, plans, performance programs, and indicators through an integrated framework with relevant government entities, thereby providing reliable data to measure various aspects and contributing to the realization of the goals set by Saudi Vision 2030.

Commitment to data confidentiality

GASTAT noted that all information and data furnished by the Micro Data Center to public and private sectors, individuals, and international organizations are maintained under strict confidentiality, ensuring their protection and use solely for statistical purposes. Requests for access to the center’s services can be submitted via this link, by contacting the Statistical Information Center at the unified number (199009), or by emailing customer support at cs@stats.gov.sa.
