Taxpayers in Saudi who pay their bills late will be exempt from fines until the end of November, it has been confirmed.

Saudi Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) announced the re-launch of an initiative to waive fines and exempt taxpayers from penalties for six months from June 1, 2022.

The initiative aims to mitigate the economic fallout of the Coivd-19 pandemic.

The exemptions include fines for late registration, late payment, and late submission of the declaration in all tax systems.
