The Madinah municipality has completed preparations to celebrate the 94th Saudi National Day with a series of vibrant events across five key regional locations.
The municipality transformed King Abdulaziz Square with sound and lighting displays, screens featuring National Day themes, and expressive models. Additionally, Al-Daitha Park, King Fahd Park, Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Park, and Al-Khalidiyah Park will host a variety of activities.
The celebrations will include screening documentaries, interactive shows, folklore performances, theatrical acts, poetry recitations, and family-friendly entertainment. Children’s activities, cultural events, and competitions will also take center stage.
Saudi National Day in Jeddah
Saudi National Day activities will start on Friday, September 20, and will continue until Monday, September 23 in regions across Saudi Arabia including Jeddah. Some of the key events happening in Jeddah this year include the air show on the corniche on Friday. Jeddah’s skies will also witness a stunning fireworks display on Friday. On Monday, the city will host a Saudi Folklore Show to highlight the cultural heritage of the Kingdom.
Celebrate in AlUla
The largest celebration during Saudi National Day weekend, AZIMUTH, is taking over the ancient AlUla with a three-day event under the theme “Until the Sun Comes Up”. A line-up of regional and international artists across genres including James Blake, The Blaze, Ben Bohmer, Jamie Jones, and other talents, will make the holiday a weekend to remember. The event is happening at Wadi Al Fann from Thursday, September 19 to Saturday, September 21.
