The National Labor Observatory (NLO) in Saudi Arabia has published a detailed report featuring data on the Saudi private sector labor market for August. The paper includes the total number of employees in the private sector at the month’s conclusion, a breakdown of citizens and residents by gender, the net growth of citizen employment, and the count of new entrants to the private sector in June.
As per the findings, the number of workers in the private sector rose to 11,572,408 in August, highlighting its appeal and ongoing job creation, SPA reported.
The report further indicates that, in August, there were 2,369,828 citizens employed in the private sector, comprising 1,397,146 men and 972,682 women. Additionally, the number of residents employed in the private sector stood at 9,202,580, with 8,812,758 men and 389,822 women.

Furthermore, the report reveals that 37,009 citizens secured jobs in the private sector for the first time in August. The NLO consistently publishes reports and analyses that track labor market indicators and statistics. One such publication, titled “Overview of the Saudi Labor Market in the Private Sector,” summarizes the most significant data from each month leading up to its release.
