Amazon announced today that Prime members in the UAE saved more than any previous Prime Day during this year’s 48-hour event on July 23 and 24 on Amazon.ae, with thousands of deals across every category including electronics, fashion, beauty, kitchen, home, Amazon Devices, and more.
Prime members in the UAE joined members around the world as they purchased more than 300 million items worldwide during Prime Day 2022, making this year’s event the biggest Prime Day event in Amazon’s history. More shopping means more savings—Prime members around the world saved over USD1.7 billion, more than any previous Prime Day event. This year was also the biggest Prime Day event for Amazon’s selling partners around the world, most of whom are small and medium-sized businesses, whose sales growth in Amazon’s stores outpaced Amazon’s retail business.

In the lead-up to Prime Day 2022, Amazon opened its largest delivery station in Abu Dhabi, bringing advanced last-mile delivery technology to the capital and providing the convenience of Same-Day and One-Day deliveries to customers, including those located in outer areas, such as Al Samha, Al Shawamekh, Yas and Saadiyat Islands, Bani Yas, and Al Wathba.
With a strong fulfillment network, eight delivery stations, and a network of Delivery Service Partners across the UAE, Amazon continues to build and scale this UAE network, while focusing on the safety, well-being, and career advancement of the people across the operations network who make it all possible.
