The decisions coincide with the upcoming Eid Al-Adha celebrations and aim to enhance social stability by ensuring dignified living conditions and suitable housing for all Emirati citizens.

The UAE Cabinet, chaired by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, approved a new housing assistance package for Emirati citizens valued at AED1.682 billion ($457.9 million). This package includes 2,160 decisions to provide housing support to beneficiaries under the Sheikh Zayed Housing Program.

The Cabinet also approved the launch of the “Manzili” bundle, which offers 18 streamlined housing services to citizens through collaboration with 24 federal and local government entities. This simplifies the customer journey by reducing the involved entities from 11 to 1 and the required documents from 10 to 2. Additionally, the procedures have been reduced from 14 to 3 steps, and the service fields from 32 to 5.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum said: “We approved during the Cabinet meeting, 2,160 new housing decisions for citizens under the Sheikh Zayed Housing Program valued at AED1.682 billion. We also approved a project to simplify and reduce procedures within the program in collaboration with 24 government entities. This will streamline the process, reducing the number of required documents for housing loan approval from 10 to 2. We thank the teams working tirelessly to eliminate bureaucracy, re-engineer all government procedures, simplify them, and ease the lives of our citizens.”

Manzili“: A comprehensive housing services bundle

These decisions coincide with the upcoming Eid Al-Adha celebrations and aim to enhance social stability by ensuring dignified living conditions and suitable housing for all Emirati citizens. The “Manzili” bundle also aligns with the UAE’s ongoing efforts to improve the quality and efficiency of digital government services, reducing completion time by 50 percent and re-engineering processes to offer a new generation of proactive, integrated services.

Housing approvals package enhances family stability

The AED1.682 billion housing package includes 437 housing decisions worth AED297.65 million, fulfilling previous housing grant requests as per the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, for a total of AED2.3 billion. It also includes 1,654 housing financing decisions worth AED1,301,609,308 as part of the new housing policy collaboration with national banks and financial institutions, and 69 government housing decisions worth AED82.8 million. These initiatives aim to enhance family stability and ensure that all Emirati citizens have access to suitable and affordable housing.
