UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan warmly welcomed His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, during his fraternal visit to the UAE.

Meaningful discussions at Qasr Al Rawdha

The meeting took place at Qasr Al Rawdha in Al Ain, where His Highness Sheikh Mohamed greeted the Saudi Crown Prince with warmth, emphasizing that the UAE feels like his second home. Their discussions reflected the enduring fraternal bond between the UAE and Saudi Arabia. His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed transmitted the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, along with his best wishes for the ongoing progress and prosperity of the UAE.

The Crown Prince expressed his heartfelt congratulations to the UAE President on the occasion of the UAE’s 53rd Eid Al Etihad (UAE’s National Day), sharing his aspirations for continued development and success for the UAE and its citizens.

Their talks delved into the lasting fraternal connections between their nations and explored avenues for further growth under their unique strategic partnership.

Strengthening Gulf cooperation

Both leaders highlighted the significance of enhancing Gulf cooperation, reiterating their mutual commitment to advancing collaborative Gulf initiatives and fortifying the region’s security and stability. They also emphasized the need for fostering Arab cooperation in light of the complex challenges currently facing the region.

Moreover, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman reviewed recent regional and international developments, particularly concerning the Middle East. They further underscored the necessity for unified efforts to sustain regional stability and avert potential crises that could jeopardize security. The two leaders stressed the importance of pursuing a fair, comprehensive, and enduring peace based on a two-state solution, which would ensure stability and security for all parties involved.

Moreover, in honor of the Saudi Crown Prince’s visit, the UAE President hosted a dinner.

Additionally, the meeting was attended by several dignitaries, including H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi; H.H. Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Zayed Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation; H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior; H.H. Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan; H.H. Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Development and Fallen Heroes’ Affairs; H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs; Sheikh Sultan bin Hamdan Al Nahyan, Adviser to the UAE President; and Sheikh Mohamed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun, Advisor to the UAE President, along with other Sheikhs.

Earlier Sunday, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman arrived in Al Ain, accompanied by His Royal Highness Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Minister of Defence, and His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki bin Faisal bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Sports. Furthermore, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed led the welcoming committee at the airport, joined by H.H. Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi and National Security Adviser; H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chief of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs; Sheikh Mohamed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Adviser to the UAE President; and Sheikh Nahyan bin Saif Al Nahyan, UAE Ambassador to Saudi Arabia.
