No longer will visitors to Qatar require a negative PCR or rapid antigen test within 24 hours of returning from abroad in order to enter the country.

Visitors entering Qatar are also not required to preregister on the government’s Ehteraz health application before their arrival.

On Ehteraz, green health status is only now required to access only the country’s health facilities.

In addition, a Covid vaccination certificate is no longer required for entry into Qatar.

The removal of all travel restrictions was due to the fall in the number of Covid cases and deaths, according to Yousef al-Maslamani, medical director of Hamad General Hospital.

In October, the requirement to wear masks on public transportation was repealed, and masks are not required inside the eight World Cup stadiums.
