Riyadh Air and Atletico de Madrid establish new partnership

Saudi Arabia’s newly established airline, Riyadh Air, and prominent Spanish football club, Atletico de Madrid, have officially entered a multi-year partnership. The agreement marks Riyadh Air’s inaugural sports sponsorship since its official launch on March 12, 2023.

“We are delighted to welcome Riyadh Air as our new main sponsor of the club,” said Miguel Angel Gil, CEO of Atletico de Madrid. “This partnership signifies a great opportunity to offer better experiences to our fans around the world and I am confident that this alliance with Riyadh Air will elevate our club to new heights.”

The Saudi-based airlines is now the principal sponsor and official airline partner of the football club. Beyond the inclusion of Riyadh Air’s branding on the team’s kits, this partnership holds the potential to engage millions of fans of both Riyadh Air and Atletico de Madrid.

Scheduled to lift off in 2025, the airline aims to establish connections between Riyadh and over 100 destinations worldwide by 2030. As a comprehensive service provider with a digital orientation, the airlines is poised to lead with pioneering technologies and innovations.
