Saudi Arabia’s non-oil exports jump to $7.1 billion in July 2022

In July 2022, Saudi Arabia's oil exports accounted for 81 percent of total exports, up from 76 percent compared to the same period in 2021.

Saudi non-oil exports increased by 26.4 percent in July, reaching SAR26.7 billion ($7.1 billion), up from SAR21.1 billion in the same month in 2021.

The value of non-oil exports fell by SAR4 billion, or 13 percent, according to data from the General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT).

Findings also revealed that merchandise exports rose by 58.8 percent year on year in July to SAR140.8 billion, driven by a 69 percent increase in oil exports.

In July 2022, oil exports accounted for 81 percent of total exports, up from 76 percent compared to the same period in 2021.

Meanwhile, imports increased by 18.3 percent, totaling SAR8.5 billion; their value reached SAR55.1 billion in July 2018, up from SAR46.6 billion in July 2021.

Moreover, imports fell in July by SAR5.8 billion, or 9.5 percent, compared to June 2022.
