Tawazun Council and ADNEC Group have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen national-level coordination in organizing defense and security events, and to enhance the UAE’s presence at specialized international exhibitions.
The agreement was signed on the opening day of Make it in the Emirates 2025, at the Tawazun Council stand. The ceremony was attended by H.E. Dr. Nasser Humaid Al Nuaimi, secretary general of Tawazun Council, and H.E. Humaid Matar Al Dhaheri, managing director and group CEO of ADNEC Group.
The strategic partnership underscores the UAE’s commitment to positioning itself as a leading hub for defense innovation and advanced technology on both regional and global stages.
The MoU sets the foundation for joint planning and execution of major defense-related events, aligning efforts to showcase the nation’s capabilities under the UAE National Pavilion at prominent international exhibitions.
By combining expertise and resources, Tawazun Council and ADNEC Group aim to elevate the impact and visibility of the UAE’s defense and security sector, while fostering collaboration with global industry leaders and stakeholders.

H.E. Dr. Nasser Humaid Al Nuaimi stated: “This agreement marks a strategic milestone in building a unified institutional framework for representing the UAE at global defense platforms. Through this collaboration, we aim to strengthen event delivery efficiency and enable national defense companies to expand internationally under a cohesive identity that reflects the UAE’s strategic vision in the defence and security sectors.”
H.E. Humaid Matar Al Dhaheri said: “We are proud of this partnership with Tawazun Council in a collaboration that further empowers ADNEC’s role in supporting the national defense ecosystem. Together, we will deliver world-class events and amplify the international enhancing the UAE’s international visibility via specialised platforms that showcase its industrial and technological capabilities.”
As part of the agreement, ADNEC Group, in collaboration with Tawazun Council, will lead the organization and management of international defense events and UAE participations on behalf of the Council and Emirati companies under its umbrella.
This joint effort is designed to boost the UAE’s presence at key global defense exhibitions, highlighting the nation’s cutting-edge capabilities in the defense and security industries.
The initiative aims to expand international market access for Emirati defense products, foster long-term strategic partnerships, and attract greater foreign investment into the UAE’s national industries.
